Once upon a time, a soul split in two to become twin Miqo'te children. These twin newborn babies vanished soon after the Calamity had occurred in Eorzea.
5 years later into the Seventh Umbral Era, two adult twin Miqo'te arrived in Eorzea and set off on a journey today that would have them both become the Warriors of Light for this particular shard.This is their story.

Before the Faestar twins were born, their story begins with their parents: Renga Shiryuza, a Moon Keeper of the Shiryuza clan and L’scial Tia, of the L tribe.Renga was born within the Black Shroud, the spitfire Miqo'te always felt bored of living within the confines of her secluded clan. Renga often would sneak off during the daytime to head into Gridania. There, she met a Dark Knight from Ishgard. That Knight took a liking to Renga's headstrong nature and decided to teach her the skills of a Dark Knight warrior and how to unlock the power of shadows. While Renga still was taught to be a pugilist by her tribe's warriors, her training from the Ishgardian made her the tribe's best in wielding a claymore.[WIP]In 1571 of the Sixth Astral Era, Renga Shiryuza of a secluded Moon Keeper family from the Black shroud and L'scial Tia of the Sun Seeker Lee (Viper) tribe, were both exiled from their tribes once the two performed an eternal bonding ceremony with one another. Living in exile, the two traveled together across Eorzea and came across The Path of the Twelve. Renga began showing signs of possessing the Echo and was recruited by Louisoix, along with another notable adventurers who possessed the Echo, like a Hyur Warrior named Meteor. L'scial tagged along with the six adventurers as a traveling companion to repair their gear when needed.As the seven traveled around Eorzea, following Louisoix's orders to help make plans to prevent the fall of Dalamud, Renga discovered she was pregnant. A month before the battle of Carteneau, she gave birth to twins. After she had given birth, Louisoix called upon the six adventurers possessing the Echo to help stop Dalamud's descent at Mor Dhona. Renga left L'csial with their twin children to head to Ul'dah for safety. During the fight, Renga was separated from the rest of the five and her linkshell was broken. When Louisoix used the last of his mana to teleport Meteor and his four companions, Renga was not one of them and she died to Bahamut's Teraflare.L'scial and his children managed to escape the devastation of the destruction of Dalamud, though the male Miqo'te realized that his wife was most likely dead and not coming back. During his journey to Ul'dah with his twin babies, he was attacked by Garlean survivors from the Calamity. He died from his wounds after trying to protect his children.Before he succumbed to his wounds, a white haired woman with cat ears and tail appeared before him. This woman was not a Miqo'te, instead, she was a Goddess from another world named Erune. L'scial entrusted his children to Erune just before he died. Erune, unsure of what to do, since she had originally made a vow not to meddle with other worlds (hence why she did not heal or save L'scial before he died), was suddenly contacted by Hydaelyn, the Goddess of Eorzea appearing before her and the two babies in her arms.Hydaelyn informed Erune that since Renga had passed on, her gift of the Echo was passed onto the twin babies Erune held in her arms. She also warned that the forces of evil that their mother, Renga, and other Echo users were fighting had been weakened for now, but would retaliate within a few years of recovery and thus, the Miqo'te twins would need to be ready soon to take on the evil out there, regardless of how old they are.Erune, shocked at how little regard Hydaelyn had for how old Renga's children were and, having already dealt with the difficulty of being a chosen one from her world before, decided that she would take the Miqo'te twins back to her home world to raise them. Time flows slower in her world so the children will be old enough and ready to take on the task given to them.Erune and her 3 other sisters helped raise the twins and by the time the two of them reached the age of 25, they were ready to return to Eorzea to take on the task of being the Warriors of Light for Hydaelyn. By the time they arrived, only 5 years had passed since the Calamity.[WIP]
